Acceptance
By using Filtr you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. We may update these terms; significant changes will be communicated in-app and by email.
What Filtr does and doesn't do
Filtr is an informational tool that scores food products on processing class and additive risk using publicly available data and our own scoring engine.
Filtr is not medical, nutritional or dietary advice. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, accredited dietitian or other qualified health professional. Don't use Filtr to diagnose or treat any condition.
Accounts
You're responsible for your account credentials and any activity that happens under your account. One person per account.
Subscriptions
- Filtr Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription via Apple App Store (StoreKit).
- Monthly: AUD $6.99. Annual: AUD $49.
- Renewal can be turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period via Apple ID → Subscriptions in iOS Settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their own policy.
Acceptable use
- Don't submit false or abusive product information.
- Don't scrape, reverse-engineer or attempt to bypass the paywall.
- Don't use Filtr to defame any brand.
Open Food Facts
Product information is sourced from Open Food Facts under the CC-BY-SA licence. We attribute the source in-app. Contributions you submit via Filtr may be shared back to Open Food Facts for community benefit.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Filtr is provided "as is". We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your reliance on Filtr's grades or additive classifications.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
